Dr. Karen Hoffman has been a nurse for 43 years and an educator for 25 of those years. She developed a passion for influencing and education the nurses of the future early on in her nursing career and was inspired by her own nursing faculty. She broadened her knowledge of and commitment to the broader academic community during her service as Associate Dean for the College of Arts and Sciences at IWU. She has led assessment efforts for IWU and for the School of Nursing since 2007.
