Mrs. Harvin, Assistant Professor at Coppin State University, Helene Fuld School of Nursing, Baltimore, MD. She holds the following degrees in the field of nursing: BSN, RN 1998 Coppin State College of Baltimore, MD, and MSN, and Post Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing Education from Towson University in 2010. She is currently enrolled in a Post Masters DNP program at Salisbury University, where her research focus is studying the Effectiveness of Faith Based Organizations in Bridging the Gap in Healthcare Delivery and Improving Health Outcomes.
Mrs. Harvin is associated with several professional organizations: She is a Fellow of The Safra Foundation for Parkinson Disease, John Hopkins University and was recently selected as a Fellow of the Nursing Leadership Institute. She has presented at both local and national nursing conferences and continue to provide health education in the Baltimore City Communities.
Mrs. Harvin is committed to doing her part in eliminating health disparities in the community and received an award for Outstanding Community Service in 2016. She is a strong believer in lifelong learning and is always searching for opportunities to improve herself and bring out the best in others.
